In the department, there are three laboratories equipped for the needs of prospective teachers, each with a capacity of 25 students. In these laboratories, within the scope of field education courses: experimental applications for secondary chemistry teaching, computer assisted chemistry teaching applications, teaching models and activities for material development take place. The department also has a classroom for multimedia applications with a capacity of 45 students.

Job Opportunities

Our students have the opportunity to work as chemistry teachers in private and public educational institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. They also have the opportunity to pursue an academic career in the fields of Chemistry, Chemistry Education and Science Education.

A significant number of the students who graduate every year can enter master's and doctoral programs in the departments of chemistry affiliated to the institutes of Natural Sciences or in the departments of chemistry education affiliated to the institutes of Educational Sciences at home and abroad and become academicians in these branches.
